IPL Pigmentation Treatment
Pigmentation in the skin can be caused by many things including sun damage, age, hormonal changes and medications. It is a feature which can cause the skin to look prematurely aged, and it can be distressing if in a prominent place.
How does it work?
The Intense Pulsed Light with SmartPulse™ technology delivers precise light through several layers of skin, which generates heat when it’s absorbed by the targeted tissue. This corrects imperfections in the skin without damaging surrounding tissue. At the same time, a real-time cooling system works to keep your skin protected from the heat so you’re comfortable throughout the treatment.
How much does IPL for Pigmentation cost?
Most clients receive around 6-8 treatments, for best results. Sessions are usually performed 4-6 weeks apart. Your Specialist will give you a detailed consultation to determine the right treatment plan for you. We also send out a pre-consultation form via email for completion before your consultation.

Is the treatment suitable for me?
Contraindications include, but are not limited to: diseases or conditions that can be stimulated by or sensitive to light, a current diagnosis or history of cancer, and if you have recently had excessive exposure to sun or have fake-tanned skin. A patch test and consultation is required before your treatments, so if you have not had one, please book in for that in the first instance.
