Cancellation Policy

At Tay Medispa, we understand that life can be unpredictable, and your plans may change. To ensure fairness and flexibility for both our clients and staff, we have established the following cancellation policy:

  • Appointment Confirmation

A deposit equal to 25% of the total treatment/service cost is required at the time of booking to confirm your appointment. This deposit will be applied to the total cost of your treatment/service.

  • Cancellation and Refund Policy

Cancellation with 48 hours’ notice or more: You may cancel or reschedule your appointment up to 48 hours before the scheduled time. In this case, your deposit of 25% will be fully refunded or can be applied to a rescheduled appointment. Cancellation with less than 48 hours’ notice: If you cancel or reschedule within 48 hours of your appointment, the 25% deposit will be non-refundable.

  • No-Show Policy

In the event of a no-show (failure to attend the scheduled appointment without prior notice), the deposit will not be refunded, and you may be charged for the full cost of the missed service.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation with our cancellation policy. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please contact us as soon as possible to avoid any charges.

We reserve the right to refuse future service to individuals who repeatedly miss or reschedule appointments.

For any questions or to make changes to your booking, please contact Tay Medispa directly.

Health Conditions

Your Therapist or Clinician is likely to ask you about any relevant medical history. However, if they do not, and you have any medical conditions that may affect or impact your treatments, please let us know. This includes being at any stage of pregnancy or if you are breastfeeding. It is important that you inform us of any medications you are taking or conditions you have so we can treat you to the best of our abilities and recommend to you the correct medication, treatments and products.

Our Duty of Candour

At Tay Medispa, we are committed to being open, honest, and transparent with all our patients. In line with our responsibilities under the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2014, we uphold the Duty of Candour at all times.

This means that if something goes wrong during your care that causes harm or has the potential to cause harm:

  • We will tell you what happened in a clear and honest way.

  • We will apologise and explain any immediate steps taken to protect your safety.

  • We will investigate the incident thoroughly.

  • We will keep you informed of our findings and any changes we implement as a result.

We believe that learning from mistakes and being transparent is essential to delivering safe, high-quality care.
