A short word from Colette
“My job provides great satisfaction in helping patients with pelvic floor dysfunction, that often come to me having told no one else, and helping them get better. I also have two children and know how difficult it can be to be pregnant and in pain. Although pain is common in pregnancy it is not normal, and with the correct Physiotherapy treatment, advice and individualised exercise programme, symptoms can be greatly improved.”
Colette will assess any of your Physiotherapy needs, but has a special interest in Women’s Health. This includes:
- Urinary incontinence (stress, urge or mixed)
- Faecal urgency
- Faecal incontinence
- Pelvic pain (vulvodynia)
Please note, if someone requires a bowel assessment we would usually ask that their GP is aware of their symptoms and that any necessary investigations had been carried out prior to assessment.
- Pelvic girdle dysfunction
- Back/neck pain
- Carpal tunnel
- Practical advice regarding Labour/Birth - breathing, positioning, pain relief (TENS)
Initial assessment (60 minutes) - £49
