Our Podiatry services are carried out by Alastair Dall BSc PGDip HCPC, of Footcare Scotland. Alastair has over fifteen years experience in the NHS, including specialist roles in Biomechanics and Orthopaedics. He has a particular interest in Sports Podiatry and previously held post at Edinburgh University’s renowned FASIC sports medicine clinic. He works with athletes of all levels and also provides services to St. Johnstone Football Club and the Tayside and Fife Institute of Sport.

Initial Assessment & Treatment £45
A full medical history will be taken including vascular and neurological assessment, a treatment plan will be discussed and agreed with you. Your toe nails will be cut, dealing with any problems in the process. All of your painful, unsightly hard skin and corns will be removed, followed by a relaxing foot rub. 45 minutes.
Regular Podiatry Treatment £35
If you have painful corns, hard skin, thick or ingrowing toenails, dry or cracked heels, let us help. Your toe nails will be cut, dealing with any problems in the process. All of your painful, unsightly hard skin and corns will be removed, followed by a relaxing foot rub. 30 minutes
Medical Pedicure £60
Our gold standard treatment. Your nails will be cut, shaped and buffed, all your hard/unsightly skin will be removed, followed by a soothing warm wax treatment to rehydrate your skin and a relaxing foot rub, leaving your feet feeling and looking fantastic. 60 minutes
Musculoskeletal Assessment £60
This appointment type is aimed at non-sport related musculoskeletal injuries of the foot and ankle. The appointment will start with a thorough history taking, including a full medical history, discussion of your current activity and specific information regarding the presenting problem. Following the history taking you will be taken through a series of specific tests to diagnose your injury. Your diagnosis will then be clearly explained to you, and a treatment plan will be tailored for your specific problem.
Sports Assessment £70
An in-depth assessment of any foot ankle or lower limb injury related to sport. The appointment will start with a thorough history taking, including a full medical history, discussion of your current training regime, current/future goals, and specific information regarding the presenting problem. You will then be taken through a series of specific, functional and dynamic tests to highlight areas where there is either a restriction in joint motion or a lack of muscle strength. Where indicated, gait analysis will be performed. This can consist of a basic visual assessment of the way you walk or run through to more detailed video analysis. Following the assessment, a treatment plan, tailored to your specific needs will be agreed and explained to you in full. 60 minutes
Runner’s MOT £70
This is an in depth running specific assessment designed for clients who are new to running or for the non-injured runner who is considering either an increase in mileage or intensity in training. The appointment will start with a thorough history taking, including a full medical and injury history, discussion of your current training schedules and current and future goals. You will then be taken through a series of running specific, functional and dynamic tests to highlight areas where there is either a restriction in joint motion or a lack of muscle strength. Video gait analysis will then be carried out. There is a normal posture for the feet, knees, hips and back at any point of the running cycle and video gait analysis enables us to study any abnormal movements of both muscles and joints as the body moves. You will be able to see for yourself how you run, helping you to understand your particular problems, why they exist and how they can be treated and prevented. Following the assessment recommendations will be made with regard to footwear choice and strengthening and stretching exercise program. Where appropriate, referral to physiotherapists, sports doctors or running coaches/personal trainers will be made. 60 minutes
Verrucae needling £125
This procedure is carried out under local anaesthesia to treat your verrucae. Recent research has shown up to 69% success rate with only one treatment. All patients must first attend for an assessment appointment.
Nail surgery from £295
This is a minor surgical procedure carried out under local anaesthesia to cure painful ingrowing toenails. All patients must first attend for an assessment appointment.
Paediatric Assessment £45 (30 minutes)
Initial musculoskeletal assessment for patients under the age of 16 years old.
